This pendant comes from North Africa: Tunisia.
It’s a truly one of a kind pendant with antique natural mediterranean coral beads and a beautiful collection of small dangling charms. Those charms are called hamsa, or khamsa. They are hand-shaped to protect the owner from the evil eye.
The pendant have been molted using a very high quality silver. The details are not as delicate as they could be for a pendant cut from a silver plate. The design suggest it was the jewel from women in the countryside.
I think the coral beads have been added later according to a new fashion in Tunisia.
I have chosen to use a sweet orange natural silk to make the rope associated to this pendant. This color is perfect with the coral beads. But, if you prefer an other color, just tell me.
