Beautiful tribal flexible Rajasthan or Punjabi armlet, called bazuband (bahutta for muslims) . It’s made of several silver pieces tied with a dark red cotton cord that can be fasten with a silver bead. It’s originally worn just above the elbow, one on each arm, but it can also be worn as a bracelet. This type of bracelets is spread also in other parts of India with minimal variations.
Once tied, the bracelet is aprox 17 cm -6,69 in- (inner perimeter) and can be easily fasten and unfasten. It weights 70 gr. This is an old and worn bracelet with a great patina. (IND671)
