Here is a sumptuous, antique silver, coral, shell and glass bead Tadjik wedding necklace. It features a double amulet with finely granulated decorations on both sides and the corners. The necklace does show some wear and minor repairs as it is very old; most of the newer pieces have faux granulation, but this is the real thing! The mysterious signs and the roses of this Massa area bangle can be yours if you have a small wrist. It is also easier to get on and off if you put a thin plastic bag over your hand first, which is what they often do here. The silver and the work is very fine and it is a collector’s item which will only grow rarer with time. Discreet but exotic.

80 YR OLD BRASS NORTH MOROCCAN BERBER BELT BUCKLE

These were made in silver too but the silver ones are much higher now. They are meant to hook at the ends of cloth rolled belts and could still be made to be functional. This one is about 80 years old and in great shape.

Three dimensional, with stones on the fronts and on the sides, a very clever design, plus this huge pair (over 5 inches in diameter) have three stones on the front, which I have never seen before, and nielo in good shape too. The dangles have been lost but we can find others if you want. They are often worn without the dangles as well. Time to get a rare pair of these old Jewish work hoops before they disappear totally.

The sun swirls and round designs on this piece are fertility symbols, and I believe that the hearts are as well. Simple and charming with nice wear and patina and excellent shape with the original pin and chain.
